Narciso's 12 Saves Paces Royals in Loss to Marymount

ARLINGTON, Va. - EMU wrapped up its non-conference lacrosse slate on Wednesday, making the trip to NOVA to take on Marymount. 

The Saints used six goals in each of the first two quarters, and four in the third and fourth, to pick up a 20-0 win over the Royals.

Highlights
  • Cristal Narciso came with five saves in the first quarter, limiting the Saints damage. Ava Walker had a shot on goal early in the game, but it was saved by the Marymount keeper, keeping EMU off the board. 
  • EMU's offense was able to get two more shots on goal in the second and one in the third, both in the second coming from Amber Bonds and the third quarter shot coming from Ainsley Clark, but both were saved by the Saints. Narciso added to her save total with three more in the second and third quarters.
  • In the fourth, Narciso picked up one save, with it coming on a free position shot to push her total to 12. Shayleigh Sims and Walker both put shots on cage in the fourth, but once again, both were saved.

What's Next
EMU will be back to ODAC play on Saturday, when they welcome in Virginia Wesleyan to the Burg. First draw is set for 5 pm.
