LYNCHBURG, Va.  – The EMU Men's Soccer team hit the road to the Hill City on Saturday for a key ODAC matchup against Lynchburg, who came into the game ranked 18th in the latest United Soccer Coaches national poll. The Royals held their own in the early, but they ultimately fell to the Hornets by a final score of 3-0.

Highlights
- Scoring opportunities were few and far between in the opening half with both sides playing stellar defense. Not long before halftime, Lynchburg lit up the scoreboard first when Kohlby Wilson found the high center part of the net in the 43rd minute off of an assist from William Casey. The Hornets took a 1-0 lead into the halftime break.
- Lynchburg scored five more goals in the second half to pull away from the Royals.
