LYNCHBURG, Va. – The EMU softball team wrapped up their 2024 season on Saturday, taking on Randolph in an ODAC doubleheader.
Game one was a tight, as the Royals and WildCats were tied going into the final frame. But a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh gave Randolph a 3-2 walkoff win. Game two saw more offense from the WildCats as they were able to pick up an 8-1 win.

What's Next
This is the final game of the season for EMU softball. They'll lose some depth on offense and in the circle, but coach JD McCurdy has a strong group of returners and a solid recruiting class to look forward to in 2025.
