HARRISONBURG, Va. - EMU wrapped up the second game of a homestand on Thursday, taking on Wells College.
The Express used seven third-quarter goals to extend their halftime lead, en route to a 17-4 win.

Highlights
- Ainsley Clark got the scoring started early for EMU. After Angel Hines won the opening draw, Clark ended up with the ball and put it past the keeper for her sixth goal of the season. After a save from Cristal Narciso kept Wells off the board, Clark picked up her second goal of the game, this time taking a pass from Alex Palizzi and finding the back of the cage for a 2-0 EMU lead.
- Wells scored four goals in the first quarter, with their keeper picking up three saves, to take a 4-2 lead after one.
- After another Narciso save, Wells took advantage of a foul for a free position goal for a 5-2 lead. Palizzi was able to cut the Royals deficit to two with her second goal of the season, but the Express would add three more in the half, for an 8-3 lead at the break.
- The Express were able to give themselves some breathing room with seven goals in the third quarter, and two more in the fourth. EMU scored their final goal of the game less than a minute into the fourth quarter, when Courtney Crawford scored her 10th of the season.
