HARRISONBURG, Va. - After being off for the week because of finals, EMU had another test on Friday as they welcomed in Lancaster Bible.
LBC ended the final 10 minutes of the first half on a 34-11 run and held on in the second half, picking up an 81-66 win over EMU.

Highlights
First Half
The Royals jumped out to an early 7-0 lead, with buckets from
Aviwe Mahlong,
Zach Bailey and
Gabriel Campbell. After a Chargers jumper,
Isaiah Carr drilled a three to push EMU's lead back to eight. Later in the half, after LBC had pulled within two,
Kaleb Torrence scored five straight to extend the Royals lead to seven. At the 10:30 mark, after a jumper from
CJ Harrist, LBC started their run, outscoring EMU 34-11 over the half's final 10:30. EMU was able to cut their deficit to 15 with a pair of Campbell free throws, but the Chargers hit four of their own in the final 16 seconds to take a 47-28 lead into the break.
Second Half
EMU started the second half on a 5-2 run, with Carr hitting free throw and layups from
Aaron Brooks and Mahlong. Midway through the half, LBC was able to extend their lead to 27, their largest of the game. But EMU continued to battle, going on a 15-0 run to pull back within 12, 68-56. A few minutes later, still trailing by 12, LBC scored seven straight to pull back out by 19, 77-58. A Campbell layup and four straight points from Mahlong gave EMU a 6-0 tilt, but it was too late as LBC was able to finish out the win.

What's Next
EMU will finish out 2024 on Monday as they take on ODAC foe Randolph Macon in Yoder Arena. Tipoff against the Yellow Jackets is set for 7 pm.
