ASHLAND, Va. – EMU Men's Soccer loaded up the bus for a mid-week trip to Ashland to face off with Randolph Macon. Unfortunately, the Royals remain winless in ODAC play following a narrow 3-2 defeat at the hands of the Yellow Jackets.
The match had no shortage of offense, with five goals, 36 shots, and 11 shots on goal combined between the two teams.

Highlights
- 14' | The Royals broke the ice as Hudson Acocella shot and found the lower right section of the net to make 1-0 EMU.
- 21' | It did not take long for Randolph Macon to find an equalizer as Kevin Sprince scored off of an assist from Wiley Eubank. This goal started a 3-0 run for the Yellow Jackets, as goals by Grayson Woods in the 31st minute and Elijah Caro in the 42nd minute made the score 3-1 Yellow Jackets at the break.
- 55' | EMU cut Randolph Macon's lead in half as Acocella played the ball to Dimas Portillo who flung it past the Yellow Jacket keeper to make the score 3-2.
- However, an equalizer was not in the cards for the Royals as their comeback attempt fell one goal short.
