Highlights
First Half
To say that the first half was a struggle for the Royals would probably be an understatement. After two early buckets by Lancaster Bible to go up 4-0, Ondrus got EMU on the board with a three-pointer at the 17:01 mark. However, the Chargers outscored the Royals 33-10 for the rest of the half, including an 9-0 scoring run over the final 3:53 to go up 37-13 at halftime.
Second Half
The Royals found their offense in the second half. After two Lancaster Bible buckets, Ondrus got EMU going with two layups. After Tyshaun Pulley scored for Lancaster Bible on a pull-up jumper, the Royals went on an 8-2 scoring run that spanned three-and-a-half minutes to get within 20 at 51-31. But EMU's biggest push came with a 10-0 run over 1:57 of game action to make it an 11-point game at 60-49. The Royals got within nine on an Ondrus layup with 48 seconds left, but Lancaster Bible made their free throws down the stretch to ice the game.
