WINCHESTER, Va. – EMU Men's Soccer made their first appearance in the ODAC Men's Soccer Tournament since 2018 on Saturday, traveling to take on Shenandoah for a second week in a row. Sadly, the season ended in Winchester, with the Hornets advancing to the semifinals on the strength of a 4-0 win over the Royals.

Highlights
- Both teams had their fair share of chances in the first half, but no one found the scoreboard. In particular, Andrew Arledge mustered a couple of incredible saves in the waning moments of the opening 45 minutes to keep the match scoreless at the break.
- 47' | The Hornets broke the ice early in the second half when Nathan Yared tallied his ODAC-leading 11th goal of the season to make the score 1-0 Shenandoah.
- After the initial score, the floodgates opened for the Hornets, scoring three goals in the span of 14 minutes to put the match out of reach for EMU.
- The Royals finished the season with a .500 record for the first time since 2018, and placed fifth in the final ODAC regular season standings despite being picked to finish last in the preseason poll.
