VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The EMU Men's Soccer team traveled to Virginia Beach on Saturday, but it was not for rest and relaxation. Instead, it was all business with a tough road contest against Virginia Wesleyan, who went into the day tied for second in the ODAC. The Royals were not intimidated, going toe-to-toe with the Marlins in a 1-1 draw.

- 45' | Just when it looked like a scoreless first half, Virginia Wesleyan sent a centering pass into the box, and the Marlins' Aria Kimiavi got enough of a foot on the ball to put it through the legs of Andrew Arledge and into the net.
- 49' | The Royals came out of halftime determined find an equalizer, and it did not take them long. Ariel Bonilla sent a beautiful free kick into the box, and Mesa Dula headed it home for his fifth goal of the season, tying the game 1-1.
