Box Score ASHBURN, Va. – The Royals were back in action Wednesday night, taking on pre-season ODAC favorite, Randolph-Macon.
The Yellow Jackets shot over 40% from the field en route to a 65-30 win over the Royals.

Highlights
First Quarter
RMC started the game on a 10-0 run before Lauryn Moore's layup gave EMU their first points of the game. Trinity Washington added another bucket in the frame but it was the Yellow Jackets taking a 14-4 lead after one.
Second Quarter
Laila Glymph's layup at the 7:57 mark cut the Royals deficit to 15 and that was followed by a pair of Tiffany Carey free throws. Carey added three points late in the quarter to send the teams to the locker room with Randolph-Macon ahead 29-13.
Third Quarter
Washington and Brii Redfearn sandwiched an RMC bucket, making the score 38-17 less than four minutes into the third quarter. Mya Hamlet and Carey added four more points for the Royals as EMU trailed heading into the final frame.
Fourth Quarter
Two EMU free throws kicked off the fourth quarter but RMC was able to extend their lead with seven straight before Jayda Jones knocked down a jumper. Hamlet, Glymph and Savanna Crawford added points down the stretch for EMU.

EMU will continue its road trip on Saturday when they head to Lynchburg for a matchup with the Hornets. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 pm.
