Box Score HARRISONBURG, Va. - The Royals women's basketball team played in front of their home crowd for the first time this season and gave that very crowd an exciting game.
Despite falling to the visiting Fighting Squirrels of Mary Baldwin, the Royals put on a display of grit with a final period comeback attempt. The final score of the game was 54-47, putting the Royals at 1-1 on the young season, but an excitement is in the air for the young Royals as they look towards the rest of their season.
Highlights

- Mary Baldwin turned it on from there, outscoring the Royals down the stretch to push the score to its final tally.
