With the loss, the Royals fall to 1-4 in conference play, while the Yellow Jacket's improve to 4-2 in ODAC standings.
Despite R-MC getting on the board early and their 15-2 edge in shots for the first half, the game remained at 1-0 until half time.
The Yellow Jacket's offense exploded in the second half, scoring four more times before the clock ran out.
For the Royals, sophomores Laura Rittenhouse (Harrisonburg, Va./Eastern Mennonite) and Ariel Barbosa (Towson, Md./Towson) each had a shot attempt, but could not convert to find the back of the net.
R-MC led in shots (25-2) and corners (14-0).
Sophomore Leah Wenger (Harrisonburg, Va./Eastern Mennonite) made six saves while playing the first 64:26 in goal.
