Hampered by a handful of injuries, the Lady Royals were no match for rival Bridgewater Wednesday afternoon on the road, falling in their ODAC opener.

The Eagles scored three goals in the opening seven minutes and never looked back in taking a 10-0 decision.

Keeper Becca Borg (Gig Harbor, WA/Peninsula) faced 22 shots on goal and finished with a career high 12 saves.

Carli Taylor (Germantown, MD/St. Johns) had EMU's only shot of the game.

With their season-opening two-game winning streak now evened with two losses in the row, the Lady Royals will look to chalk up another victory on Saturday with a road game at Trinity Washington University in Washington, DC.
