The Eastern Mennonite University women's volleyball team wrapped up competition at the Gettysburg Battlefield Classic with McDaniel College and Gallaudet University on the slate for day two.

The Lady Royals fought to keep both matches close but eventually succumed to a 3-2, and 3-1 defeats. Against McDaniel, EMU was defeated by set scores of 21-25, 25-15, 21-25, 25-22, and 15-10.

Set scores for the match against Gallaudet were 25-20, 21-25, 25-23, and 25-11.

The Lady Royals will stay on the road as they travel to Lexington, Va., on Wednesday, September 10, to take on the Generals of Washington & Lee in the first Old Dominion Athletic Conference match of the season. Game time is set for 6:30 p.m.
