Yellow Jackets Sting Lady Royals with 3-0 Loss

The Randolph-Macon College Yellow Jackets defended their home territory and improved to 10-5 overall and 2-0 in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference following a 3-0 win over the Eastern Mennonite University women's volleyball team.
Game scores were 25-14, 25-17, and 25-14.
EMU drops to 4-10 overall and 0-4 in the ODAC.
The Lady Royals were led in kills by freshman outside hitter
Tabitha Bowman (Waynesboro, Va./Stuarts Draft) with six while freshman middle
Nicole Ropp (Iowa City, Ia./Iowa Mennonite) finished right behind her with five.
Elisa Troyer (Harrisonburg, Va./Broadway) tallied another four kills for EMU in the match with
Christine Bottles (Williamsburg, Va./Jamestown) registering 16 assists.
Jenny Blosser (Harrisonburg, Va./Eastern Mennonite) had nine digs in the loss.
Alex McRae had nine kills for the Yellow Jackets.
EMU will look to bounce back as they return home on Saturday, September 27, for a 2 p.m., ODAC match-up with the Quakers of Guilford College.
