Generals Down Lady Royals, 3-0

Washington & Lee improved to 5-0 on the season and 1-0 in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference following a 3-0 win over the Eastern Mennonite University women's volleyball team Wednesday night.
The Lady Royals fall to 3-7 overall, 0-1 in the ODAC.
Game scores were 25-14, 25-13, and 25-19.
EMU will face off against Shenandoah on Friday, September 12, at 6:30 p.m., in their next contest.
Freshman middle
Tabitha Bowman (Waynesboro, Va./Stuarts Draft) led the team with six kills. Sophomore middle
Monika Burkholder (Linville, Va./Eastern Mennonite) and
Nicole Ropp (Iowa City, Ia./Iowa Mennonite) each had five kills in the loss.
On the defensive side of the ball, sophomore
Jenny Blosser (Harrisonburg, Va./Eastern Mennonite) registered eight digs while junior
Laura Stoltzfus (Parnell, Ia./Iowa Mennonite) had seven digs.
Christine Bottles (Williamsburg, Va./Jamestown) had 14 assists.
