Snyder Named ODAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week

Eastern Mennonite University sophomore guard Brittany Snyder (Raphine, Va./Riverheads) was named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference women's basketball Player of the Week for November 17-23.

Snyder helped to guide the Lady Royals to a 3-0 start on the year as she led the team with a career high 20 points in an 81-55 win over Mary Baldwin. Snyder followed that up with 16-point and 18-point performances against Frostburg State and Elmira College at the FSU John Cawley Tournament. She was named to the All-Tournament Team after averaging 17 points to go along with four rebounds and two steals. Snyder also shot 11-of-22 from the floor (.500) and was 5-of-12 (.417) from behind the arc.

The women's basketball team travels to Lynchburg, Va., on Tuesday, November 25, for a 7 p.m., ODAC battle with the Hornets.
