Lady Royals Pound Out Seven Goals in ODAC Win

Katie Lamm (Newmanstown, Pa./Eastern Lebanon Co.) gave the Eastern Mennonite University women's soccer fans something to remember her by as the senior forward scored three times and assisted on another goal as the Lady Royals defeated Hollins University 7-0 on a blustery night in Harrisonburg, Va.
EMU improves to 9-7 overall and 7-4 in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. The Lady Royals will travel to Roanoke College to play the Maroons in the first round of the ODAC Tournament scheduled to begin on Saturday, November 1, at 12:30 p.m. Further details can be obtained by visiting the conference webpage

Hollins drops to 5-12 on the year, 2-9 in the ODAC.
The win was the 100th in the history of the EMU women's soccer program. The overall record now stands at 11-68-12 (.571).
EMU scored twice in the first 10 minutes of the game with Lamm notching her 12th and 13th goals of the year with assists from
Valerie Brubaker (Quarryville, Pa./Lancaster Mennonite) and later from
Mattie Horning (Morgantown, Pa./Lancaster Mennonite) on her third goal of the game.
Lamm also assisted on a score by
Valerie Burton (Staunton, Va./Fort Defiance), her second goal of the year.
Jordan Barkus (Millersburg, Pa./Millersburg), Brubaker,
Mary Dunn (Dalton, Ohio/Central Christian) also scored a goal for EMU.
The Lady Royals out-shot Hollins 43-5 on the night.
Abi Diffenbach (Lancaster, Pa./Lancaster Mennonite) had three saves in the win.
