Three players scored in double figures as the Eastern Mennonite University women's basketball team improved to 11-5 overall and 9-3 in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference with an 75-43 win over Randolph-Macon Women's College Friday night in Yoder Arena.

Sophomore Carolyn Riley (Warrenton, Va.) led the offense again for EMU with 17 points and five boards while junior center Jolene Kratz (Telford, Pa.) had 14 points, six boards, and five blocked shots. Tara Jones (Richmond, Va.) was the other Lady Royal to score in double figures as the senior guard notched 11 points and three steals.

With 17 points tonight, Riley has now scored in double-figures in 15 of the Lady Royals 16 games while recording 17 or more points in seven of the last eight games.

EMU took control of the game early in the first half as the Lady Royals went up by 12 less than six minutes into the contest. EMU continued to pour on the offense as they lead 47-15 at the break.

The WildCats were led by Katie Rechnitzer and Emily Wade who each tallied 10 points while Sam Schaffstall had eight points and nine boards. RMWC falls to 1-14 overall and 1-11 in the conference with tonight's loss.

Freshman Miranda Wolfe (Verona, Va.) led EMU with 10 boards while contributing six points.

The Lady Royals will be back in action tomorrow, January 27, as they host Lynchburg College at 4 p.m. with the EMU men set to square off against the Hornets at 6 p.m.
