Berry Leads Lady Royals over Shenandoah

Three Lady Royals scored double-digits in kills to lead the Eastern Mennonite University women's volleyball team over Shenandoah 3-1 Wednesday night in Winchester, Va. Game scores were 30-26, 20-30, 32-30, and 31-29.

Senior Lisa Berry (Dalton, Ohio) had 16 kills and 19 digs to go along with a team high five services aces to lead the attack. Junior Megan Good (Alberta, Canada) added another 16 kills and seven blocks while freshman Moriah Haver (Fredericksburg, Ohio) had seven kills and 19 digs on the day.

Sophomore Dana Sprowl (Swoope, Va.) also reached double-digits in kills with 12.

Michelle Chandler and Jennifer Thompson led the Hornets with 16 and 18 kills respectively. Tina Conner added another 16 digs in the loss.

EMU will be back in action on Saturday at 2 p.m. against Old Dominion Athletic Conference opponent Emory & Henry.
