Wolfe, Riley Lead Lady Royals to 58-43 Win
Freshman Miranda Wolfe scored nine of her team high 12 points in the second half to lead the Lady Royals over Mary Baldwin 58-43.

Carolyn Riley (Warrenton, Va.) each scored in double figures as the Eastern Mennonite University women's basketball team took a 20 point lead into the half and went on to defeat Mary Baldwin 58-43 Friday night in Staunton, Va.
EMU improves to 4-1 overall on the season while Mary Baldwin falls to 2-5 on the season.
Wolfe finished with a team high 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting from the floor while adding two rebounds for EMU. Riley added another 11 points and six rebounds while senior
Tara Jones (Richmond, Va.) recorded nine points and two steals.
The Fighting Squirrels were led by Jessica Carter who finished with a game-high 16 points while teammates Jennifer Dobson and Eric Dabney each contributed seven points.
The Lady Royals took a 20 point lead into the half (39-19) thanks in part to Jones, Riley, and freshman
Ebony Dennis (Baltimore, Md.) who each had six points at the break.
Mary Baldwin cut into the Lady Royals lead in the second half behind Carter who tallied seven of her 16 points during the half. Wolfe led the charge for EMU, notching nine points in the half to keep Lady Royals ahead.
EMU only gets the night off as the Lady Royals return to action tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. against Randolph-Macon College in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference showdown.
