Junior Jordan Snipes poured in a season-high 31 points as Guilford College defeated Eastern Mennonite University 77-70 in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference men's basketball game on Saturday afternoon in Greensboro, N.C.

Snipes (Siler City, N.C.) shot 10-for-17 from the floor and connected on 4-of-7 three-point field goals to lead GC (6-8, 4-3 ODAC) to the conference victory. Sophomore Ben Strong (Chapel Hill, N.C.) had his first career double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds.

Junior forward Jason Sager (Edinburg, Va.) had 15 points and nine boards to lead four players in double figures for EMU (7-7, 3-5 ODAC). Sophomore guard Brad Parkes (Winchester, Va.) had 13 points and five boards while junior center Jason Lentz (Diana, W.Va.) had 13 points and seven boards off the bench.

EMU will next play on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Emory & Henry College.
