Lady Royals Blanked by Hornets 1-0 in Women's Soccer

Lynchburg College made a first half goal stand up for the 1-0 final score in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference women's soccer victory over Eastern Mennonite University on Saturday in Lynchburg, Va.
The only score of the contest came at the 26:34 mark of the first half when Siobhan Budine put LC (7-1, 4-0 ODAC) on the board.
Junior Joy Shaiebly (Lancaster, Pa.) made six saves for EMU (3-4-1, 1-1-1 ODAC). Katie DeLorenzo made no saves for the Hornets. LC held a 22-6 advantage in shots and 5-3 in corner kicks.
EMU will host Randolph-Macon Woman's College on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
