EMU Beaten 3-1 at Guilford in Volleyball

Eastern Mennonite University dropped a 3-1 decision to Guilford College in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference women's volleyball match on Saturday afternoon in Greensboro, N.C.
GC (4-9, 1-4 ODAC) defeated EMU (0-17, 0-5 ODAC) by game scores of 21-30, 30-18, 30-25, and 33-31.
Sophomore Megan Good (Alberta, Canada) led the Lady Royals with 17 kills, three solo blocks, and three block assists. Freshman Dana Sprowl (Swoope, Va.) had 12 kills and three total blocks. Junior Lisa Berry (Dalton, Ohio) added eight kills and led all players with 18 digs. Sophomore Courtney Miller (Harrisonburg, Va.) collected 13 digs. Junior Brittany Zalud (Chesapeake, Va.) tallied 44 assists, six digs, and three total blocks.
Guilford freshman Brittani Leathern (Wilmington, Del.) led all players with 19 kills and five total blocks. Freshman Emily Becher (Kernersville, N.C.) had a double-double with 15 kills and 10 digs while freshman Kace Loeffler (West Grove, Pa.) also had a double-double with 11 kills and 13 digs. Freshman Becca Jones (Eden, N.C.) had 45 assists, 10 digs, and six kills.
