EMU Drops 1-0 Women's Soccer Decision at Guilford

Eastern Mennonite University surrendered a goal with 18 minutes remaining in dropping a 1-0 Old Dominion Athletic Conferece women's soccer contest against Guilford College on Saturday in Greensboro, N.C.
EMU (4-5-1, 2-2-1 ODAC) and Guilford (7-3-1, 3-2-0 ODAC) battled to a 0-0 halftime tie. The game remained scoreless until the 72:10 when sophomore Micki Boulineau (Little River, S.C.) scored the game-winner.
Junior Joy Shaiebly (Lancaster, Pa.) made four saves for the Lady Royals while senior Danielle Brisotti (Island Park, N.Y.) made no saves in recording the shutout. The Quakers held an 8-2 advantage in shots and a 5-2 edge in corner kicks. EMU committed seven fouls while GC had six.
EMU will continue a four-game road swing on Tuesday with a 4 p.m. contest at Hollins University.
