EMU Drops Eighth Straight Against Guilford

GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Eastern Mennonite men's basketball team dropped eighth their consecutive contest to Guilford this Sunday afternoon. EMU drops to 4-18 overall and 2-13 in ODAC play.

EMU shot just 26% in the first half as Guilford took a 69-31 halftime lead. The second half went much smoother for the Royals, but the damage had already been done.

Guilford placed five players in double figures and shot 56% for the game.

E.J. Arrington (Staunton, Va./Stuarts Draft) led EMU with 16 points. Jason Sager (Edinburg, Va./Central) scored 12 points.

EMU will finish the season out traveling to Va. Wesleyan and Roanoke. Their final home game will be on Valentine's Day as they face Washington and Lee.
