Lynchburg College Defeats EMU 2-0 in Women's Soccer

Sophomore forward Catherine Adams would come off the bench and score both Lynchburg goals to give the Hornets a 2-0 victory over Eastern Mennonite University in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference women's soccer game on Saturday afternoon in Harrisonburg, Va.
Adams would come off the bench midway through the first period and give Lynchburg (13-1-1, 7-0) the early 1-0 lead at 30:55. It would be Adams eighth goal of the season.
Adams would follow up her eighth goal of the season with her ninth 12 minutes later as she would give the visiting Hornets a 2-0 lead. Amanda Koslow would also tally four shots for Lynchburg College.
Sophomore Joy Shaiebly would tally five saves for the Lady Royals while Erin Johnson would have two saves for the Hornets.
EMU will be back in action on Thursday, October 21 against Randolph-Macon College at 4:00 pm.
