HARRISONBURG, Va. – The Eastern Mennonite University women's volleyball team opened their four game

HARRISONBURG, Va. – The Eastern Mennonite University women's volleyball team opened their four game home stand with a decisive victory over Guilford College. EMU won in three games 30-16, 30-19, and 30-28.

The Lady Royals got a strong performance from junior Anna Dintamen (Harrisonburg, Va./EMHS) who finished the game with two service aces and five kills. Freshman Lisa Berry (Dalton, Oh./Central Christian) added 10 kills and 14 digs. Berry also added two service aces for EMU (9-13, 4-4).

The Lady Royals also received strong performances from freshman Marlana Via (Lyndhurst, Va./Stuarts Draft) and junior Becky Langstraat (Corvalis, Or./Corvalis). Via had 16 digs while Langstraat added seven kills and two service aces.

A.J Robertson and Bethany Stubbs led the Quakers (4-21, 2-6). Robertson had 12 kills while Stubbs added four digs and two service aces for Guilford.

EMU will be back in action on Saturday, October 25 against Lynchburg College.
