Randolph-Macon improved to 12-3 overall and remained perfect in the ODAC at 2-0. The Lady Royals dropped to 6-8 and 1-3 in conference play.
The first game was the beginning of the fireworks as the Yellow Jackets outlasted EMU 30-26. Randolph-Macon recorded six service aces all by Veronica Briggs in the first game to contribute to the win.

The tables turned in the third game as the Lady Royals would jump on the Yellow Jackets early. Contribute that to great hitting by EMU as they committed just three hitting errors. Lisa Berry (Dalton, Oh./Central Christian) led the charge with five kills hitting .556 as EMU won 30-20.
Game four was the barn-burner as the game went into extra points with EMU coming out the victor 33-31. Berry and Becky Langstraat (Corvalis, Ore./Corvalis) each record four kills to help EMU force a game five.
In the final game, both teams battled back and forth not giving way to the other. EMU would hold the lead but the Yellow Jackets answered each time. Randolph-Macon would then take a 12-10 lead and hold on for the win. Briggs kept the Yellow Jackets alive with three kills.
Briggs ended the match with a game-high 18 kills and recorded 16 digs. Mollee Farrell added 16 kills while Amanda Morris chipped in 12 kills. Jennifer Hummill tallied 52 assists. Randolph-Macon recorded nine team blocks.
