Diego Crespo Guido started as the Communications and Creative Content Graduate Assistant in August, 2024.
A native of Mexico City, Crespo arrives at Eastern Mennonite University from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va., where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Media Arts & Design with a concentration in Digital Video & Cinema and a minor in Sports Communication. While at JMU, Crespo worked with the university’s Marketing & Branding office, creating media content to showcase student life through athletic events, art performances, and alumni engagement. He also contributed to projects such as Latinx Heritage Month, PRIDE Month, and ESPN College Gameday at JMU.
Crespo also gained national-level experience as a Video Services Intern with the United States Tennis Association, assisting in video shoots, post-production editing, and social media content to promote the 2024 US Open tournament in New York.
Currently, Crespo oversees creative media for EMU athletics. His work highlights EMU’s student-athletes and programs, building engagement with students, alumni, and fans across social media platforms.
