Jordan Roach joined the EMU track & field program as a throws coach before the 2021 season. He also volunteers and trains at D-I University of Virginia. 

Jordan joins the Royals program after competing as a thrower for Virginia Tech. He advanced to the NCAA East Preliminary Rounds in 2015 and 2016. He also helped the Hokies capture the ACC outdoor title in 2016 and indoor titles in 2013 and 2015.

In the summer of 2021, Jordan was selected to compete at the US Olympic Team Trials in Eugene, Oregon, in advance of the Tokyo Olympics. He made the finals in the event and finished 8th at the Olympic Trials.

Jordan graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in human development.
