Jeff Tyson Set To Head Women's Volleyball Program
Eastern Mennonite University has announced the hiring of Jeff Tyson as head women's volleyball coach. Tyson comes to EMU from Marion, IN, where he has been heavily involved in the region's volleyball scene, including four years as an assistant coach at Indiana Wesleyan University.

For four years, Monika Burkholder and Elisa Troyer have been regulars on the volleyball court in Yoder Arena. Friday night, the two Eastern Mennonite University seniors played their final home match when the women hosted Roanoke. The Lady Royals gave Roanoke, the ODAC's third-place team, a run for their money, but came up just points short in a 3-0 loss.

EMU Falls To BC On Dig Pink Night
Sometimes what is happening off the floor is just as important as what is happening on it. Thursday night the Lady Royals hosted rival Bridgewater and while the match had a bearing on conference standings it was also Dig Pink Night, as the teams came together to raise awareness and money to help fight against breast cancer. While the Eagles won the match, the fans raised $526.25 for the cause.
