Eastern Mennonite's Olyvia Longacre (Telford, Pa./Dock Mennonite Academy) finished her sophomore season on a high note, striking two of her best rounds to close play at the ODAC Golf Championships on Monday. The three-round tournament was hosted at Bryan Park in Greensboro, N.C.

With a tournament change putting both of the two final rounds on Monday, and even some rain starting to fall in the afternoon, Longacre shot up the leaderboard with scores of 83 and 81. They were two of her four best rounds of the year.

Longacre jumped to 10th out of 32 women at the ODAC Championships, finishing with a score of 256 (+37) on the par-73 course. It was the highest percentile finish ever for an EMU golfer. The sophomore also ends the year on a strong note of four straight top-10 finishes.

Defending national champion Christina Herbert of Bridgewater won the individual honors at the tournament, shooting a 224 (+5) for an eight-stroke victory. Washington and Lee claimed the team title at 933 (+57).
