Title: Assistant Men's Soccer Coach

Sam Woody continues his role as a long-time assistant at Eastern Mennonite, with stints from 1996-2000, 2003-06, and 2010-present.  He was also the head coach of the EMU women's program for three years before it transitioned to varsity status in 1999.

Woody has coaching experience at the USSF B Level and 30 years mentoring from the high school to professional ranks.  He stops include Vero Beach High School, Guilford College and the University of Virginia.

In 1996, he was the Strength Conditioning Coach and Keeper Coach for D.C. United in the MLS.  He also held the same roles with the U.S. Men's Olympic Soccer Team.

He and his wife, Betsy, live in Elkton, VA, with their son, Michael.
