Shank enters her sixth season as an assistant coach for her alma mater after helping to lead the team to a 13-6 overall record and a 7-2 finish in the ODAC in her first year and a run of four straight appearences in the Finals of the ODAC Tournament.

As a player for the Lady Royals, Lisa (Ehst) Shank guided the 2003 team to a birth in the NCAA Championships while registering six goals and six assists for 18 points. She finished her collegiate career at EMU with 21 goals and 20 assists.

Shank currently lives in Harrisonburg with her husband Joel and son Levi.
