After being an assistant coach for one year, former player Jason Stuhlmiller has taken over as the Interim Head Baseball Coach at Eastern Mennonite University.

Jason was the head baseball coach at Eastern Mennonite High School from 2007 to 2010 before making the jump to college and joining EMU's staff in 2011.  Since the summer of 2010, he also has been the head coach for the Broadway Bruins in the Rockingham County Baseball League.  Jason rebuilt the team into contenders within two years, doubling their win total and being voted Co-Manager of the Year in 2011.

Jason teaches Special Ed and Drivers Education at Harrisonburg High School and lives in Bergton, VA, with his wife Crystal and four children: Briana, Landen, Zechariah, and stepdaughter Alisha.

Jason Griffin joins the EMU staff as an assistant this season.  He has spent five years as the pitching coach for Turner Ashby High School in nearby Bridgewater.

Jason played four years at Bridgewater College, earning All-ODAC honors at third base in 1996.  He also played 13 season for Clover Hill in the Rockingham County Baseball League, being named the MVP in 1997 and Pitcher of the Year in 1995, 1997 and 2003.

A native of Williamsburg, VA, he is currently employed by the City of Harrisonburg at Heritage Oaks Golf Course.  Jason and his wife Carla have a son Addison and daughter Carson.
